Langarood is My mother’s hometown. It is located east of Gilan. In my mind, it is one of the best locations in Gilan because it has access both to the Caspian Sea and Mountains.
There are many mesmerizing locations near Langarood, and it is also near to some well-known cities like Lahigan and Ramsar.
The Beach is really good for swimming because it is Sandy and it will not hurt your feet.
In the following, I listed 10 must see locations in Langarood:
- Parashkooh road, it is a road between Langarood and Kumle. The interesting thing about this road is that rural women bakes some domestic breads and cookies that are very delicious.
- Bazar of fish known as “Bazar-e-Mahi-Furushan” which is a domestic market for the buying fish and other daily products.
- “Kheshti-Bridge” which is an old bridge made with albumen.
- “Abchalaki” is a village near Langarood, located in the mountains and you can see all the beautiful city from above when you are in on of the cafes.
- Tea Farms: there are a lot of tea farms where you can go into them and enjoy breathing fresh air with completely natural aroma.
- Satan Mountain is located in Lahigan and it looks like a Satan when you see it from far
- Lahigan’s pool known as “Estakhr” is a good place for taking a walk across a very big pool ( remember that you can not swim there)
- Chamkhale beach which I think is the best beach for swimming in the Caspian Sea
- Khorma, is a Village that located in the middle of the jungles and has one of the most beautiful waterfalls I have ever see.
- Leila Kooh, is also one the beautiful mountains that has a wonderful fresh air to breathe.
