One of the most important things in solving problems is adaptation. Sometimes the Devices are in a special condition or maybe they are being misused by the user and so, they need instance repairs but, there are not enough parts or tools available.
In this Post I’m going to tell you one of my experiences in according to this situation. Last year we receive a request for repairing a heavy-duty industrial laundry machine. The Problem was that the machine did not take the water.
The situation was very complex. The mainboard sockets were broken due to Corrosion, but they still work in that condition. Testing all parts of the machine showed that the problem is water inlet solenoid valves. and the worse part was that an unauthorized Technician had changed the wiring system.
The Decision was made. we had to change Mainboard, Wiring system and solenoid Valves. Changing the mainboard and solenoids were easy to implement but the main challenge was that the broken solenoids worked with 24V, but the available solenoids were used 220V. So, we could not use the original wiring system scheme.
I decided to redesign the electrical wiring system that delivers 220V to solenoids without needing to change anything on the main board or signals. The Idea is simple; you can use some relays to change the voltage of the solenoid’s input signals.
After implementing new parts, we became sure that everything work correctly and finally the device was ready to use.
